If you plan to freelance or start your own business after completing your OJT, you'll need to demonstrate your employment and income. K-Youth aims to secure steady employment for you, which includes proving a regular income. Therefore, if you choose freelance or self-employment, you'll need to provide similar proof.
To start, you'll need to register your business with SSM:
Complete Online Application: Visit the SSM e-lodgement portal at SSM e-lodgement portal and register for an account if you haven't already. Fill out the online application form and upload the necessary documents.
Pay Registration Fees: Use the SSM e-payment gateway to pay the required fees. Fees vary depending on your company's authorized capital.
Submit Application: After submitting your application and payment online, you'll receive an acknowledgment email or notification from SSM.
Await Approval: SSM will review your application. Upon approval, you'll receive your Certificate of Incorporation (Form 9) electronically via email.
Once you have your SSM registration, you can also maintain records of freelance work, such as email trails or invoices.
With these documents in hand, you can proceed with the offboarding process outlined in your Google Classroom under ""Full-Time Placement Offboarding Steps.
