K-Youth Development Program - What is on-the-job-training (OJT) & how is it different from a placement?
OJT is the 12-weeks paid internship section of the program that provides you with a chance to apply theoretical knowledge gained through your digital and professional skills classes in a real-world work environment. In some cases, OJT can serve as a stepping stone to a full-time job offer (placement) within the same organisation if you perform well and meet the employer's expectations.
Excelerate will match you if you require support in finding your "dream" OJT or company as best as we can. Learners that are able to find their own are encouraged to pursue their own to ensure the best fit and experience for them.
